A joyous, sad week
The joy this week is that Tink came on Tues to spend a week with me. And driving beside wall to wall trucks at 65 mph in the rain I made it to the airport safely and we made it back home safely.
We have been having fun for the most part. We’ve done some shopping, found this really neat Chocolate/herbal store. I’m going to bring her a NOahs Ark bear in our REd/purple outfit and see if she’s interested in carrying them in her store. She has lots of Red Hat products.
We went to the Stone Mountain Highland games today but that’s a separate post.
Tomorrow and Monday we are hanging around here and doing some things we need to do. Pull out some stuff I can put on Ebay.Â
The really sad part of the week is that our family of seven is down to two now. My mother died in 1994 and my Uncle died in July 2004, one of the sons died in June 2004 and my living cousin’s wife died in 2004. And of course, my aunt died Sept. 27, 2006. WE buried my Aunt, my Uncle, my cousin and my other cousin’s wife on Wed. at the new Georgia National Cemetery.Â
They had never done services for 4 at one time. But it’s great because they are all in the same place. My Uncle was buried with Navy honors and my cousin with Army honors.  They did a 3 gun salute.
The cemetery is beautiful and will be more so once all the construction is done.
But they all were in such pain when they died and they are no longerin pain. We figure they have all remet in heaven and are having a blast.
